COLUMBIA - The Phoenix Suns selected former Missouri Tiger Alex Oriakhi in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft.
Oriakhi played just one year at the University of Missouri, averaging 11.2 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Oriakhi transferred to Missouri before his senior season; he spent his previous three years playing for the University of Connecticut.

INDIANAPOLIS - Missouri basketball coach Frank Haith concluded his meeting with the NCAA Infractions Committee in Indianapolis on Thursday.
Haith released the following statement after leaving the meeting:
"I appreciate having the opportunity to speak with the committee today and now look forward to a resolution. Out of respect to the process, I will have no further comment."

ATLANTA - Former Missouri Basketball Coach Quin Snyder is returining to the NBA as an assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks.
Snyder spent last season as an assistant with CSKA Moscow in Russia. He has previous NBA assitant coaching experience with the Lakers, 76ers and Clippers.
Snyder coached at Missouri from 1999 through 2006.

FAYETTE - Central Methodist University is adding a transfer player to its basketball roster for next season.
6'1" junior guard Tommy Powers spent the past two seasons at Colorado Northwestern Community College. This past season he averaged 12.5 points and five rebounds per game for the Spartans. He was honorable mention in the highly-regarded Scenic West Athletic Conference this past season. Powers joins the largest recruiting class CMU has had in 28 years.
