Early December Columbia fire being investigated as arson

COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department is investigating the December 8th apartment fire on the block of 2300 S. Providence Road as arson, Public Information Officer Latisha Stroer confirmed. The fire resulted in a total loss of Apartment A in the complex, while Apartment B had smoke damage. There have been no arrests made in the arson investigation, but the fire was confirmed to have been intentionally set.
