    Cause of Fulton Power Outage Detemined

    FULTON - The cause of an afternoon power outage in Fulton on Tuesday has been determined.

    City officials confirmed the widespread electric power outage was due to equipment failure at one of the city's electric substations.  Power has since been rerouted around the substation while repairs are being made.

    All City of Fulton customers experienced the power outage Tuesday that began around 4:40 p.m. and lasted between 45 minutes to an hour.
