Description: ATTENTION WOMEN: Do protein-rich meals improve appetite control & cognitive function? You can help answer this by participating in the following study. We will provide all meals & snacks to eat at home every day for 4 non-consecutive weeks. At the end of each week, you will complete a 12 hr testing day including blood samples to measure appetite hormones & questionnaires about appetite, food cravings, mood, attention & memory. You will be paid $1650 for completing all study procedures. You may qualify if you are: 1) 18-52 yrs old; 2) overweight but otherwise healthy; 3) sedentary; 4) not on a specific diet; 5) non-smoking; 6) able to tolerate blood draws; 7) not pregnant; 8) available for 12 consecutive hrs on testing days; AND 9) accustomed to eating breakfast, lunch & dinner >4 days/wk.
