||On Wednesday, November 6 the Missouri State Museum will present the program, “World War I County Service Banners,” as part of its ongoing “Museum after Hours” series. After the First World War, Missouri counties honored the men and women who served with commemorative banners. Counties and the state raised money for this project, and the State Museum has 100 in the collection. Come learn about the WWI Service Banners and how you can help conserve your history! The program will be held at 7 p.m. in the museum classroom, which is located in the History Hall in the east wing of the State Capitol. This program continues the programming series, "Museum after Hours," which occurs on the first Wednesday of each month. Missouri State Museum galleries stay open until 9 p.m.
