    COLUMBIA - A $2.7 million project to the Columbia sewage system will be introduced to city council Monday night.

    The project will focus on upgrading sewer pipes, manholes, and lateral connections to the main. Around 15,000 linear feet of sewer main will be rehabilitated throughout Columbia.

    BOONE COUNTY - A 10-acre fire threatened several homes just outside of Columbia Sunday.

    The fire was near the Route Z exit off Interstate 70. Boone County Fire Protection District said no one was hurt and reported no building damage.

    COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Sophie Cunningham scored 12 of her 32 points in the fourth quarter and No. 13 Missouri held on to beat No. 11 Tennessee on Sunday.

    The Tigers (22-5, 10-4 Southeastern Conference) made 12 of 14 free throws in the fourth quarter but the two misses came in the final minute, giving the Lady Vols (21-6, 9-5) a chance. Jordan Frericks fouled Rennia Davis on a 3-point attempt with 1.4 seconds left. Davis missed the first free throw and made the second before deliberately missing the third. Missouri got the rebound and iced the game on two Cunningham free throws with less than a second remaining.

    But shooting 57 percent on three pointers was not enough to overcome shooting 41 percent from the free throw line and 45 percent from two-point range as they lost by a bucket or less for the third time this season.

    LICKING - The Texas County Sheriff's Office canceled an Endangered Silver Advisory for an 85-year-old woman reported missing since Saturday morning.
    Lela Wolf was found in Illinois. The Sheriff's Office said she is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's with possible dementia.

    The initial advisory said she was believed to be without her medication and could have been on the way to University Hospital in Columbia.

    MONITEAU COUNTY - A California man was taken into custody after deputies reported finding a "substantial amount" of meth inside his car.

    Deputies arrested Zacharey Martin, 27, after a K-9 officer alerted them to what they said they later found.
