    COLUMBIA - Mizzou quarterback Drew Lock is putting the NFL on hold, despite having a record-breaking junior year.

    He announced his return by tweeting a video saying "proud to be a true son."

    COLUMBIA - In a game Missouri led most of the way, the Tigers fell to Florida in dramatic fashion in the teams SEC home opener. 

    Chris Chiozza’s steal and lay up in the final seconds of the game propelled Florida to victory.

    Reports surfaced, one of which he reposted on his twitter account, Wednesday that the former Tigers point guard will transfer to North Carolina State.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Former Mizzou football player Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested at 2:59 a.m. Saturday morning in Greene County.

    He was charged on suspicion of DWI, failure to display plates and a window tint violation. He was later released.

    HOUSTON - Missouri (7-6) cooled down from its hot finish to the regular season by losing to the University of Texas (7-6) in the Texas Bowl, 33-16.

    Turnovers played a key factor in the loss for the Tigers. The team finished the game with three fumbles and an interception, while the Longhorns had zero. Two of those turnovers resulted in two touchdowns by the Texas defense.

    HOUSTON - From Missouri City to Mizzou-rah, Houston native J’Mon Moore returned home to play his final collegiate football game for the Texas Bowl at NRG stadium.

    Moore said Houston is where he got his start, and “this is where I’m going to finish it.”

    HOUSTON- Mizzou fans from across the country gathered at a downtown Houston bar on Tuesday night for the official pre-game bowl party.
    Houston resident Dennis Oetting said, "I'm so excited for Mizzou's presence in the great state of Texas. We recruit a lot of great football players and we're going to make a statement tomorrow! M-I-Z!"

    The Houston Texas Tigers Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association hosted the event and welcomed over 100 current students and alumni. Alumus Steve Labac helped organize it.

    The family of the TIgers' #19, Kaleb Prewett, went to Houston from Kansas City to offer their support. They said their excited for the game and feel like they are outshining all the other Mizzou supporters in town.
    "We're the sexiest family in Houston right now," they said.

    The official Mizzou Alumni Association tailgate will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday In front of Hall E, at the NRG Center.

    AUSTIN, TEXAS - Missouri football will have to fight against a home field advantage in what should a neutral site game Wednesday night at the Academy Sports and Outdoors Texas Bowl.

    The Tigers are taking on the Texas Longhorns at NRG Stadium in Houston. That means Mizzou, which had to travel over 800 miles to get to the game, will be taking on a team that had to travel fewer than 200.
