No one harmed in north Columbia fire early SundayPosted on 4 February 2018 at 11:33am
COLUMBIA - Columbia firefighters say no one was hurt in a fire at 206 Austin Avenue Sunday morning.
According to a Columbia Fire Department press release, units arrived on scene at 4:52 a.m. and found heavy smoke and fire in the second floor of the building.
CFD said it took a total of 12 units to put out the blaze and fire crews remained on-scene to search for hidden fires.
The fire department said more information about the fire's origin and damage is coming soon. Assistant Fire Marshall Joe Pauley is the fire investigator.
