I-44 closed while multiple-vehicle car crash cleaned upPosted on 4 February 2018 at 9:17pm
WEBSTER COUNTY - The eastbound lanes of I-44 were closed from Mile Marker 106 to Mile Marker 113 after several vehicles were involved in a crash Sunday.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, all vehicles were being diverted at Marshfield onto Route 38 and to Route CC, until being reconnected to I-44 at Mile Marker 113.
The interstate could be closed for up to 12 hours while emergency crews clean up the crash, MoDOT said.
Other crashes along I-44 caused closures near Rolla, including a 30 vehicle crash at Mile Marker 186, Missouri Highway Patrol Troop I said in a tweet at 4:21 p.m.
As of 6 p.m., MSHP said that I-44 at Mile Marker 186 will be opening soon, and other areas that were closed have opened.
I-44 E/B at 138 MM is now OPEN
I-44 W/B at the 143MM is reduced to one land but is OPEN
I-44 E/B at the 186MM will be OPEN soon
