COLUMBIA - Missouri guard, Kassius Robertson, was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week this morning, following a victory over No. 24 Kentucky over the weekend.
In Missouri's first win over the Wildcats, Robertson scored 16 points, to tie for the team-lead. In the final minutes, he put the game on ice, shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the line.
Robertson averages 16 points per game on the season, leading the scoring record in 12 out of the team's 23 outings this season. The Cansius transfer also leads Missouri from points beyond the arc, posting 41 percent.
Robertson is Missouri's first Conference Player of the Week honoree since the 2013-2014 season, when former Missouri guard, Jordan Clarkson, was honored.
