FAYETTEVILLE - Missouri Women’s Basketball picked up its third straight win on the road against Arkansas 84-58.
The Tigers led wire-to-wire. Missouri used a 21-2 run in the first quarter to take a 33-14 lead. The 33 points is the Tiger's most points scored in a quarter all season.
Monday's game was a makeup. It was originally scheduled for Sunday, but got postponed after the Missouri team's flight out of Columbia Regional Airport was grounded due to freezing weather.
Missouri had four different players score in double figures. Tiger’s secured its third consecutive 20-win season for the first time since 1984-1987.
Sophie Cunningham was the leading scorer for the Tigers with 18 points. The Tigers have shot above 50 percent in the last three games and six times in league play.
Mizzou has beat Arkansas by a combined 60 points in two games this season, never trailing in either contest.
Missouri has won 13 of its last 17 games against conference opponents and will travel to Auburn on Thursday to play the other Tigers at 6 p.m.
