SAINT LOUIS - In light of the trade deadline, the Saint Louis Blues sent center Paul Stastny to the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
As a result of the trade, the Blues will receive Erik Foley, a left-wing, from the Jets. They'll have a conditional first-round pick for Stastny in 2018 along with a conditional fourth-round pick in 2020.
Stastny, a Saint Louis native, played in all 63 games this season, tallying 28 assists and 40 points on 12 goals.
In return, the Blues welcome 20-year-old Foley, who was drafted by the Jets in 2015. He recorded 34 points on 15 goals, 19 assists and 14 penalty minutes in 32 games played.
