SEDALIA - The fairground gates opened for the 110th time Thursday morning to "Celebrate Then and Wow."
Gates opened at 7 a.m. with the first judging event set to begin at 7:30 a.m. The night will end with the Nace Brothers concert at 9 p.m. on the Budweiser Stage.
Tickets for Thursday's opening day were $2 for anyone six and older. Children five and younger are free. Ticket prices for the rest of the fair are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 60 and older, $2 for children 6-13 and kids 5 and under are free.
Parking is free for the fair, but VIP parking costs $5.
The Missouri State Fair runs until August 19th.
