MARIES COUNTY - Rachel Pruett, 16, of Ackworth, Iowa died Saturday after driving a tractor pulling a hay wagon. When she drove to the top of a hill, the tractor began rolling backward. Pruett then fell off the tractor and was pinned underneath. The Maries County Sheriff's Office and the Vichy Fire Department responded to the accident.

According to a media release from the sheriff's office, first responders began providing aid at the scene of the accident. Pruett was later pronounced dead at Phelps County Hospital.
