3 Central Methodist Volleyball Players Earn Scholar-Athlete Honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Three Central Methodist women's volleyball players have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student athlete must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 and must have achieved junior standing.
The selected Eagles players are:
- Makenzie Shepard, a nursing major
- Kylie Melkersman, a nursing major
- Jennifer Garrett, a nursing major
Overall, 408 volleyball student athletes were named Daktronics Scholar-Athletes.
