3 Men Hurt in Construction Site Accident
CAPE GIRARDEAU (AP) - Three men working at a southeast Missouri construction site are hospitalized, one with serious injuries, after falling from a scaffold and then being struck by construction materials.
The Southeast Missourian reports that all three men are in their mid-20s. Their names have not been released. One was flown by helicopter to a hospital with serious injuries. The other two were taken to a hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
The newspaper reports the men were constructing a pole barn in northern Cape Girardeau County when a tractor bucket snagged the scaffold, causing them to fall.
