52nd Annual Home and Lifestyle Expo Attracts Wide Variety
COLUMBIA - The 2012 Mid-Missouri Home and Lifestyle Expo kicked off Friday at the Hearnes Center. Exhibitors came out to inform the public about the latest trends in home remodeling.
Energy efficiency is a popular priority amoung homeowners. Geo-thermal heating and cooling systems are one of the many items in high demand. From hot tubs to hot paint colors, the expo attracted many Mid-Missouri residents. The home refurbishing business is on the incline as the a new housebuilding season begins.
"We're seeing distinctive improvements," Executive Director of Columbia Homebuilder's association, Don Stamper said. "The activity is encouraging and there's a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of new products and technology."
The 52nd annual Home and Lifestyle Expo runs through the weekend.
