7-Time Convicted Felon Arrested on Meth and Weapons Charges
DIXON - A seven-time convicted felon was arrested Tuesday and is now facing several charges. Dennis D. Lawson of Dixon faces charges on possession of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and felony unlawful possession of firearms.
The 52-year-old was arrested after a search warrant was executed by the Maries County SWAT team and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group. Sherriff's Deputies found items related to the manufacture of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia and numerous weapons.
Lawson is being held in the Maries County Jail on $25,000 bond.
