Advancing Renewables in the Midwest Conference Held Monday
COLUMBIA - The Christopher Bond Life Sciences Center on the MU campus will host the Advancing Renewables in the Midwest Conference today from 8 to 4:30.
Speakers from across the nation and Canada will discuss the different forms of renewable electricity and energy efficiency.
Featured speaker Mark Jacobson of Stanford University will share details on his sustainable energy research. Other speakers will cover the latest development in our region including electronic generation from biomass, farm waste, solar and wind.
The cost of the conference is $85 for the general public and $110 energy professionals.
