COLUMBIA - The Heritage Event Company brings a vintage antique market to Columbia for the first time Saturday.

The show has everything from linens, antique toys, glassware to jewelry for sale.  There is something for every collector, as people will find items ranging from one dollar up to six or seven thousand dollars.

There are over 50 vendors from states across the country, including Minnesota, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee.  The antique show started four years ago in Tulsa, Okla.  The company hosts shows in states in the Midwest and into the south.

Promoter Gail Kinney said the wide range of merchandise offers something for people of all ages.  She said she's excited to bring the show to Columbia for the first time.

"Before we set up the show, take a look around at stores in the area and felt like it would be a good place for us to give it a try, and the dealers seem to be happy," Kinney said.

The market will be open until 5 p.m. Saturday and will continue Sunday as well at the Boone County Fair Grounds.
