COLUMBIA - Fourth grade classes from across Columbia have the Blues. More than 200 students from took Lee, Benton, Paxton Keeley and Grant elementary schools took part in a program where they were instructed to draw a picture associated with blues music.
Their work will be displayed on a mural at 10th and Walnut as part of the Blues in Schools national program.
Over the first two days of the project 14 people came out to help paint the mural. The kids will get their chance to paint on May 7th.
