Armed Robbery at Columbia Shell Station Sunday

COLUMBIA - Columbia officers responded to a call from the I-70 Drive Southwest, Shell Station on Sunday. According to a press release from the police department, a white male approached the clerk with a butcher knife and demanded money. After taking cash from both the cash register and the employee's purse, the suspect left the store running westward.

The press release cites the suspect is a white male, 5'10" and approximately 280 pounds. The man has short cropped gray hair with a bald spot on the back of his head. He has a mustache and a chin strap beard and was last seen wearing a maroon long sleeve button down shirt, red t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
