Artists with Different Colors
The Columbia Festival of Arts features everything from wood to photographs and jewelry to pottery. Artists came from around Missouri and the country, including as far away as Arizona and Minnesota.
The festival also features live entertainment all day on two different stages. Artists say they enjoy the chance to talk with the public about their works.
"I suppose my favorite part is making the sale, and next to that I would say would be interacting and seeing my work through other people's eyes you know interacting with people that attend the show," said artist Mark Knewtson.
The art show continues Sunday afternoon from 10 to 5. About fifty vendors are participating in the show.
