Attorney General To Hold News Conference At Mamtek Site
MOBERLY - Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster will hold a news conference at the site of the failed Mamtek plant Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.
No details were given regarding what Koster would announce or address at the conference.
According to the Columbia Daily Tribune, Koster has been conducting a joint investigation of the failed sweetener plant with Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Fusselman.
Mamtek was originally aimed to create 600 jobs when Governor Jay Nixon debuted the project in 2010.
In July, UMB Bank announced plans to auction off all remaining assets from the failed project.
