Attorneys Meet to Set Trial Date for Band Teacher in Sex Case

JEFFERSON CITY - Attorneys are scheduled to meet Wednesday to set a trial date for former band director Christopher Knehans.

Knehans taught at Thomas Jefferson middle school in Jefferson City before he was placed on administrative leave in September 2011.

He was indicted last year with two felony counts of sexual assault involving a student.
