Authorities Bust Meth Lab at Red Roof Inn
COLUMBIA- Boone County Sheriff's Department and the Columbia Police Department served a Boone County search warrant Tuesday morning at the Red Roof Inn, Room 212 near East Texas Avenue.
The occupants of the room were manufacturing a complete and active methamphetamine lab. A search warrant by both departments discovered items that include chemicals, equipment, meth paraphernalia, and finished methamphetamine.
Charles G. Albiol, age 34 and Brenda L. Albiol, age 35 both residents of Columbia were arrested with no set bond at this time.
The room represented a significant danger to other guests and employees of the motel and deputies trained to safely handle situations like this made the motel room safe after the arrest.
