MARIES COUNTY - Authorities arrested two people early Thursday in connection to methamphetamine possession.

David Adair, 38, and Ashley A. Buchmiller, 22, both of Belle, were arrested by Maries County deputies and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group.

"Adair is a 12 time convicted felon and I do not feel individuals who continue this type of behavior should be out walking the streets," Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said.

Officials executed a search warrant at 10131 Maries County Road 320 early Thursday. Authorities found suspected methamphetamine and multiple items of suspected drug paraphernalia.

Adair and Buchmiller were taken to Maries County jail and are awaiting charges.

It is the third time an arrest had been made at the address in five weeks. Previously, authorities have found more suspected drug paraphernalia and stolen property.
