Authorities Still Seeking Leads in 2-year-old Missing-person Case
HILLSBORO (AP) - Amanda Jones has been missing for nearly two years now, but authorities haven't given up on the case. Representatives of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and Jones' family will be at the county fair. They will be handing out fliers and banners with her name and description. Jones, who was pregnant, was last seen at the Hillsboro Civic Center on August 14th, 2005. Investigators have spent thousands of hours investigating hundreds of leads and are still seeking help from the community. A 100-thousand-dollar reward is being offered for information leading to her whereabouts. Anyone with information should call 636-797-5515.
