Barbeque Helps Prevent Violence
Local community agencies spent the afternoon spreading awareness and education on preventing violence in homes and neighborhoods. But, information wasn't the only thing people from the Rainbow House shared. They also shared free barbeque and live entertainment.
"We had lots of family fun, activities for the kids, barbecue. It was just free, family entertainment where the community came together. Lots of different agencies, people within the community sharing their ideas on how to keep our homes and neighborhoods safe," said Rainbow House therapist Heather Windham.
