COLUMBIA - A significant amount of people were seen wearing green Monday in commemoration of St. Patrick's Day. Some bars and restaurants were also fuller compared to regular Mondays.
The manager of the Irish pub McNally's reported an increase of 8 to 10 times in the amount of people for its corresponding day of the week. The bar offered specials of pints for just a dollar.
Kenny Townsend also said the festivities started over the weekend which helped business.
