Belle Man Arrested for Drug Possession
BELLE - A Belle man is awaiting a court hearing after being arrested Sunday on suspicion of drug possession.
Maries County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Kelley R. Mayer, 45, for felony possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia after executing a search warrant. The Maries County Sheriff's Office said in a press release police found suspected methamphetamines and suspected drug paraphernalia during the search. Mayer was taken to the Maries County Jail pending warrant application.
Mayer later posted a $22,500.00 bond and was released. He will have to appear in the Maries County Court on June 25, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
