Biden in St. Louis to campaign for Kander
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to be in St. Louis on Friday, campaigning for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jason Kander.
Biden is scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m. at the Pageant. It is part of a get-out-the-vote effort.
Kander, Missouri's secretary of state, and incumbent Republican Sen. Roy Blunt are involved in a neck-and-neck race. It is being watched across the country because control of the Senate could be at stake.
A St. Louis Post-Dispatch poll released Friday shows Blunt with 47 percent support, Kander 46 percent, well within the margin of error.
