Blue Springs to Get $12K for Historic Preservation
BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (AP) - The Kansas City suburb of Blue Springs is receiving a $12,000 federal grant for historic preservation efforts. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources said Monday the grant from the Historic Preservation Fund will go toward a survey of downtown Blue Springs. The survey is intended to identify historic districts and areas eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
