Blunt Announces School Grants
"Ensuring that all children receive a first class education is my highest priority as Missouri's governor," Blunt said in the press release. "Children are eager to learn at an early age and it is important for our state to provide a safe and nurturing environment to foster their desire to learn. These grants will ensure that Missouri's young minds receive a first class education."
Missouri Preschool Project (MPP) grants totaling about $915,000 will be given to the Blue Springs School District in Blue Springs, Cornerstone Center for Early Learning, Inc. in St. Louis, Kid's Corral Preschool and Childcare in Poplar Bluff, North Harrison R-III School District in Eagleville, Orchard Farm School District in St. Charles, Pierce City School District in Pierce City, University City Children's Center in St. Louis and Wheatland School District in Wheatland.
