Boil advisory for water supply District Ten customers
CENTRALIA - A boil advisory is currently issued for customers in the District 10 public water supply area after a customer hit a mainline.
900 customers were affected Wednesday, including residents living south of Highway 22, and west of Highway V. The areas north of Highway 22 and west of Highway Y are also under advisory.
The Public Water Supply District office for District 10 recommended anyone using the water to boil it for five minutes before consuming. I*t also advised everyone to turn off their ice makers.
The advisory is expected to end Friday unless a water sample from the area comes back positive after testing, which would mean there is contamination.
