Boone Co. Sheriff's Department to set up sobriety checkpoint
BOONE COUNTY - The Boone County Sheriff's Department announced on Wednesday that it will conduct a saturation and sobriety checkpoint to get intoxicated and impaired drivers off the road.
In an effort to ensure motorists aren't drivng under the influence, the department said it will have a sobriety checkpoint in Boone County between Dec. 10 and Dec. 13. The checkpoint will begin in the evening and end in the early hours of the morning of the determined day.
Drivers that encounter the checkpoint can expect minimal delay.
