Boone County deputies serve search warrant in drug sales investigation
BOONE COUNTY - Boone County deputies served a search warrant at 507 N. Garth Avenue in Columbia as the result of an investigation into cocaine sales from the residence, and found small quantities of marijuana.
Deputies watched the residence for several hours, and witnessed numerous drug transactions, according to a press release.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department said, as deputies approached the home, an adult male resident slammed shut the open door and ran to an interior bathroom. Upon entry, deputies found him in a hallway outside the bathroom, the release said.
There was additional evidence of frequent drug sales located inside the residence, investigators said.
No one was arrested.
