Boone County Sheriff's Department Arrests Teen Brothers
BOONE COUNTY- The Boone County Sheriff's Department ended a high-speed car chase Wednesday arresting two brothers just east of Columbia.
Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop Durantrae Logan, 19, and Darion Logan, 18, near the intersection of Seventh Street and Wilkes Boulevard for a traffic violation.
The driver, Durantae Logan, refused to pull over and headed north on Seventh Street driving erratically and at high speeds to I-70.
Deputies saw a handgun thrown from the passenger side of Logan's 2005 silver KIA at the bottom of the exit ramp from I-70 to Highway 63.
The pursuit continued to the Lake of the Woods exit where the suspect's car struck a median and flattened the car's two front tires.
Deputies arrested both Durantrae brothers. The suspects are being held at Boone County Jail.
