BOONE COUNTY — The Boone County Sheriff's Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Boone County between November 8 and November 15 in an effort to spot intoxicated and impaired drivers.
The event will begin during the late evening hours of the determined day and end during the early morning hours of the following day, according to a press release.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department said motorists who are following the law should expect minimal delay.
This event is funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation Division of Highway Safety.
