Boone County Vehicle Search Reveals Methamphetamine Lab

According to the Boone County Sheriff's Department, Deputies completed a vehicle search Wednesday morning which revealed a complete and active methamphetamine lab.

At 10:40 a.m. Boone County Sheriff's Department Deputies followed up on a report of suspicious activity from a local business in Columbia. Deputies located the suspicious vehicle and followed it to other retail stores in Columbia.

The vehicle was eventually stopped in the parking lot of the Crossroads Shopping Center. A search of the vehicle revealed a methamphetamine lab representing all stages of the manufacturing process.

The driver was arrested for driving with a revoked license and the passenger was arrested for an outstanding drug warrant.
