Bowers Out for Two Games
COLUMBIA -- Missouri senior forward Laurence Bowers will miss at least two games for the Tigers. Bowers suffered a sprained MCL in right knee during Tuesday night's win against Alabama.
Bowers received an MRI scan on Wednesday that showed no damage to his ACL or the bone in his right knee. Mizzou announced the senior, who missed the entire 2011-2012 season due to a torn ACL in his left knee, will miss the January 12 game at Ole Miss and the January 16 at home against Georgia.
The team plans to reevluate his injury at the end of next week. The Tigers are also currently without junior forward Tony Criswell. He has missed the last two games for Mizzou with a broken finger. No word on when he is expected to return.
