BRIDGETON, Mo. - The St. Louis County town of Bridgeton has 565 acres of land available, and officials are looking for ideas on what to do with it.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Bridgeton City Council is seeking private development proposals for the land southwest of Interstate 370 and 270. Most of it was acquired for the expansion of Lambert Airport, and remains undeveloped.
UTW Reality, which has been involved in major developments for Bridgeton, anticipates a retail and office mix for most of the site. The future of a mobile home park there and a motel are unknown.
