COLUMBIA - The Rock Bridge Boys Golf team finished second in last year's state tournament. After losing just one of their top five players, the team has its sights set on an even better outcome.

Rock Bridge Golf Coach Doug Daniels is proud of the fact that the team has won every tournament and every match they have played in so far. The Bruins' top three golfers are all equally dominant, one being junior golfer Will Echelmeier. Echelmeier explains the team's ability to work together and support one another on and off the golf course.

The depth that the Rock Bridge Boys Golf team has developed has helped the Bruins knock off reigning state champion Rockhurst by one stroke after top golfer Tyler Kolb was disqualified.

Even after the big win, the Bruins don't think they have a target on their backs because of Rockhurst's two consecutive victories. However, target or not, the Bruins continue to post impressive scores.
