ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis city building inspector is facing allegations of bribery.
Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Anthony Davis was indicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday on two felony bribery counts. The indictment was sealed until Davis' arrest on Friday. He did not yet have a listed attorney.
Davis is accused of accepting more than $2,000 in cash payments in connection with his duties, which include inspecting buildings and issuing permits.
