CALLAWAY COUNTY - Callaway County Police officers are searching for a man on a probation violation warrant.
Cole County resident Aaron Thoenen is wanted for second-degree burglary, felony stealing, property damage and resisting arrest.

On September 15, deputies with the Callaway County Sheriff Office arrived at a home on County Road 4006 after receiving information that Thoenen was still at the site. Deputies determined that Thoenen fled the area on foot, upon their arrival.

While searching the immediate area for Thoenen deputies observed a red 2008 Polaris four wheeler, two televisions, a game camera and copper wire. Residents of the home on County Road 4006 reported several game cameras and two rifles missing along with televisions and the copper wire. Tracks from a four wheeler were seen at the location of the burglary.

A search warrant was obtained and the property was recovered, except for two rifles.
