Car Hits Official at Callaway Raceway
FULTON - A racing official was airlifted to the hospital after a car hit him at the Callaway Raceway in Fulton Friday night.
Betty Atterberry, the owner of the racetrack, said the steering broke on the racecar.
The 20-year-old man was working in the pit area at the track. Atterberry said he had a fractured leg and was airlifted to the hospital, but has since been released.
