Cause of fatal fire in Dexter still unknown
DEXTER (AP) - Fire investigators in the southeast Missouri town of Dexter didn't know the cause of a fire Wednesday that killed a 52-year-old woman.
The Dexter Daily Statesman reports Lois Wells died in the house fire Monday.
Firefighters were called to the home at 1:20 a.m. It was engulfed in flames. Wells' body was found 11 hours later.
