ST. LOUIS - A 34-year-old man is facing first-degree murder charges in the death of a woman whose body was found in a St. Louis trash bin.

KSDK-TV reports that Keith Miller is accused in the death of 26-year-old Ashley Moorhead, who died of strangulation. Her body was found on Oct. 12 in a trash bin in the city's south side by a resident.

The resident says barking dogs alerted him and he saw a man trying to take the trash can. The man then ran away before police arrived.
