"Cirque Montage" at Mizzou
COLUMBIA - Dancers, actors and contortionists performed in front of a full house in Jesse Auditorium Tuesday night. The sold-out show, "Cirque Montage," was part of the university's 2011 concert series.
Juggling, hoop-spinning and acrobatics took center stage while characters entertained audience members throughout the production. According to the show's creative director, Michael Manzanet, nearly 1,800 people showed up to see the performance.
There are four more events in this year's University Concert Series: "Sacred Concerts" on April 28, "The Color Purple" on May 1, "An Evening with Garrison Keillor" on May 2, and two performances of "Mamma Mia" on May 4 and 5.
