City Council Digs into Rocky Road
The Columbia Missourian reported that a Jefferson city man died in July 1997 when his pickup rear-ended a Ryder truck. Three wrecks at the site have involved Colt trains.
Building a bridge over the highway could take two to three years, said Dan Dasho, Director of Water and Light at Columbia Public Works Department. Dasho said he prefers the bridge option.
If the city council votes on repairs, the cost would be paid for by Columbia Public works.
